If you take a close look at The Moon and Stars Project Board of Directors and staff listings, you will notice that the board is comprised completely of staff.  This is because at the Moon and Stars Project, those who “direct” and those who “take direction” are one and the same.  Our board is a dynamic and unconventional one: each year, one-third of the board is renewed from the staff ranks and rotated, ensuring that everyone is periodically immersed in the day-to-day activities of the organization.  This system keeps our grassroots nature front and center, and allows for immense flexibility.  So do not pay too much attention to our titles, chances are most of our board ran around all year getting ready for MayFest and New York Turkish Film Festival!
